Wednesday 29th October saw the year 3 & 4 Tag Rugby Festival take place at the Prairie Sports Village. Organised by Burnley Schools Sports Partnership & supported by Burnley RUFC Community Coach Simon Finnan and club coaches Howard Metcalf and Sarah Pate..

With 10 different schools and just short of 100 children playing, over the morning the children got better and better after every match.

Fun & Enjoyment as players scored tries, tag different players and made good passes, we saw all teams score numerous tries across the event.

Cliviger, Brunshaw, Hapton, Barden, Stoneyholme, Rosewood, St Johns Burnley, Cherryfold, St James & Wellfield.

If any youngster enjoyed it so much there are places available in the U9s & U8s at Burnley RUFC and all boys and girls are more than welcome to join the club any age 6 - 17 year old.
