Carluke Tigers 68 - 8 Easterhouse Panthers

Carluke Tigers took on Easterhouse Panthers, on Saturday the 27th at Hamilton Palace in what after a close opening, ended up in comfortable victory for the Tigers.

Carluke opened the scoring through Melvin Hart, but Easterhouse replied almost instantly with Callum McDonald touching down after some great work by Chad McGlame. The Tigers then scored through Lewis Matheson, but again Panthers replied immediately through Nathan Dalgado. Following this, however, Carluke began to run in the scores, and with it start to run away with the match.

The second half opened with the Tigers continuing where they had left off, with a barrel load of tries being scored, the most impressive of which coming from Craig Simmonds and Man of the Match Kyle Matheson. Easterhouse never gave in, however, and all credit goes to them as they nearly got a consolation score through the creative influence of SRL stalwart Mark Senter.
