Carluke Tigers travelled up to Fife on June the 20th, with 18 players unavailable for selection for various reasons, but to the credit of the club still managed to put a side out. The side was very inexperienced, however, and it turned into a long hard day for the Tigers.

Fife's execution was very accurate all day, and their huge pack gave plenty of go forward ball, ensuring a comfortable victory over the Tigers. To give credit where credit is due though, the men wearing the tigers jersey never gave in and defended bravely all afternoon, and can hold their heads high given the circumstances.
