Dear 200 Club Member,
Welcome to Newsletter number 22.
Mixed fortunes for the 1st XV since the last newsletter. 2 losses to Bicester and Buckingham but then two bonus point wins over High Wycombe and Littlemore. The last two have helped the league position. Well done Ben and the 1st XV team.
The 200 Club draw for November has been made and the following winners.
£200 – Number 24 – Sue Earnshaw – Wife of Geoff, our Honours’ Cap Organiser and former Chairman
£100 - Number 102 – Mike Amos – Our former Treasurer, retired 2018
£100 – Number 26 – Alan Bright – The 1st XV Admin man.
Congratulations to our winners, spend your winnings wisely.
The 200 Club Team have now finished updating Rumbles Bar. The Honours’ Boards have been completed and the “bar” area has been decorated with lots of Club shields and plaques. There is also a Rhino Tour corner and a memory wall of the 1986 Tour to Canada which many of us enjoyed.
If you haven’t been to Rumbles yet, make it a priority when you are next at the Club.
The 200 Club Buffet lunch was a great success, my thanks to Yasmin Miller who hosted the event in my absence. The 200 Club presented Ian Cameron-Webb, El Presidente, and Stuart Spindler, the Club Chairman, with tankards to use whilst they are in office. My thanks to those of you who attended, I hope that you had a good time.
The 200 Club have also spent some more of your money. We have paid the majority of the money to buy a change of shirts for the Ladies 1st XV which can also be used by other sides in the Club. Also we are paying just over 40% of the cost of new warm-up tops for the Senior Men and Ladies. The balance of the cost is being paid by other Sponsors. The 200 Club Logo is on all these items to show our sponsorship.
January 12th is a big day at the Club, not only do the 1st XV host Abbey, in another local derby but it is also Ladies’ Day. Come and share some drinks with your friends from RRFC and perhaps friends from Abbey as well. It should be a good day.

March 9th 2019 – VP lunch
