3. Reserves 2017/2018

Progress

After the fantastic end to the previous campaign, the Reserves went into 2017/18 brimming with confidence and very much aided by some decent new signings.

The pre-season saw the team unexpectantly moved up to Junior 3 and they got off to a decent start too. However, the division soon proved to be very close with all the teams taking results off eachother.

Following the expulsion of the gastly Park Pheonix outfit, it was then decided for all teams to play eachother 3 times and it then became clear that leading pair Durley (what was supposed to be their Reserves!) and Hythe Aztecs were both far too strong for this level and raced clear.

Eventually, Braishfield finished in 4th place and in a sad sign of the times, following the League's reluctant decision to axe Junior 4 and run with 3 larger divisions we now find ourselves in Junior 2 for 2018/19. It will be tough ...

The cup competionts brought their usual mixed bag but on the whole we did OK.

Park Phoenix were thrown out of league. As a result, all teams to play eachother 3 times.
